Satohama Jomon no Sato Historical Park
This is one of the largest shell mounds in Japan, and from the gazebo on the observation deck, you can see the same ocean view as in the Jomon period. At the entrance to the park, there is a shell layer observation hall where you can observe the vertically sliced shell layers. In spring, rape blossoms are in bloom, and in summer, buckwheat flowers spread across the terraced fields.
