Oku Matsushima Sightseeing Boat

There are two courses: the Sagakei Course (irregular operation) which tours Sagakei Gorge, one of Japan’s three great gorges, and the Matsushima⇔Oku Matsushima Course (regular operation every Sunday) which goes back and forth between Matsushima Town and Miyato Island in Higashi Matsushima. Since it is a small sightseeing boat, you can observe the sea and rock faces up close. The boat captain guide, who talks about the charms of the area in a warm and friendly manner, is also popular.
