Outlying Islands (Tashirojima and Ajishima)

Tashirojima: A remote island famously known as “Cat Island”. There are many cats on the island, as well as a cat shrine dedicated to the god of cats. You can also enjoy camping at the campground, Manga Island.
Ajishima: Famous for fishing, this island also has many scenic spots such as Ajishirahama Beach, which boasts some of the clearest waters in Tohoku, and Domikizaki, which offers a panoramic view of the majestic Pacific Ocean and Kinkasan Island.
